Main results

ERP Integration Strategy

  • Decision confirmed: All data should go through Price Manager before reaching ERP

  • BCS Team will implement CPQ to Price Manager integration, but not Price Manager to ERP integration

  • Zilliant Price Manager implementation team will ensure communication flows between systems

  • Data exchange strategy discussed between Price Manager, CPQ, and SAP, with temporary Excel solution for rebate details

  • Future goal: Automate rebate data transfer via APIs once SAP rebate management system is operational

Data Management and Tables

  • Output tables in Price Manager will serve as inputs for CPQ integration

  • Price management integration will include enriched product master data with local managed tables

  • Two new output tables for agreements specific net prices and product group discounts need to be implemented in PM:

    • Agreement specific net prices

    • Product group discount

    • Rebates (draft only)

  • Existing tables in Price Manager – mostly will be input to CPQ (price recs, product master, locally managed data)

  • The 2 new output tables will have very similar structure to the existing output tables. Valio will add the 2 new tables to Z DIOS and then share the structure with us.

Action list

  • Valio team to update DIOS from Zilliant Price Manager system to incorporate new required tables (output tables and locally managed tables)
  • BCS + Valio team to define all required additional locally managed tables and decide which ones to be maintained in CPQ versus Price Manager
  • Valio team to provide download of all Price Manager tables that are inputs to CPQ (master data, locally manages, pricing, MSP etc)
  • Sofia to setup call with Zilliant tech team regarding API between CPQ-PM

Decisions

  • No integration between CPQ and ERP. All typical data exchanges between CPQ and ERP will be done via Price Manager
  • Rebates directly downloaded from CPQ

List of requirements

Inbound Data to CPQ:

  • Product Master Data, from Price Manager

  • Customer Master Data, from Price Manager - requires processing to aggregate at parent customer level.

  • Pricing and Cost (MSP) Data, from Price Manager.

  • Price IQ recommendations, from Price Manager

  • Segment price lists, from Price Manager

  • Lookup Tables (e.g., product positioning), from Price Manager

  • Customer Segmentation Data, from Price Manager

Outbound Data from CPQ:

  • Contracted product net prices, to SAP via Price Manager.

  • Contracted product group discounts, to SAP via Price Manager.

  • Customer rebates, manual download from CPQ
